Day 1: YOGYAKARTA
After a warm welcome by your tour guide direct transfer into your hotel.

Day 2: YOGYAKARTA - BOROBUDUR
Start the morning with the visit to the Royal Mosque, the impressive Sultan's Palace, the vivid Bird Market and the Water Castle. Witness the skilled Batik and Silver craftspeople creating meticulously fine artwork. In the afternoon, visit world-famous Buddhist Borobudur and Mendut temples. On your way back to Yoygakarta visit the Salak fruit plantation to taste this tropical fruit. (B)

Day 3: RICE CULTIVATION – SOYA CURD PROCESSING - PRAMBANAN TEMPLE
In the morning walk through the rice fields. Get to know the art of growing rice. Visit a soya curd home processing plant making delicious tempe and tofu. In the afternoon drive to the most impressive Hindu temple complex outside of India, Prambanan. (B)

Day 4: YOGYAKARTA - SUKUH TEMPLE - SOLO
Leave the city of Yoygakarta and drive to the western slopes of mount Lawu. The Sukuh temple is referred to as the only erotic temple of Java, built by a Bima cult. Walk through the mountainous villages and vegetable fields from the temple to a roaring waterfall in the neighboring resort area of Tawangmangu. Late in the afternoon, drive down to Solo, another important cultural center in Central Java. Overnight in a nice hotel. (B)

Day 5: SOLO - MALANG
Visit the Mangkunegaran palace and the antique market. Continue to the city of Malang, East Java, formerly preferred by the Dutch because of its cool climate. (B)

Day 6: MALANG - BROMO
After breakfast visit the colorful bird and flower markets and the Chinese temple. Visit the Hindu temple, Candi Singosari, built in the 13th century. From there continue to the Bromo-Semeru National Park. Vegetable gardens growing along steep slopes can be seen along the steadily climbing road to Ngadisari. Overnight in a nicely situated hotel with garden and restaurant. (B)

Day 7: BROMO - KALIBARU
Early in the morning, at 3 o'clock, drive to the lookout point of Penanjakan. From this vantage point witness the awesome views all the way down the sea of sand, immersed in reddish light the Bromo cone, expelling smoke irregularly as well as the highest, still active volcano of Java, Mount Semeru (3.758 m). Walk to the edge of the crater at mount Bromo.
Return from this unforgettable event to your hotel. After breakfast drive to your next destination, the cool town of Kalibaru. (B)

Day 8: KALIBARU - TRANSFER TO BALI
Witness the processing of palm sugar. Pepper, rubber, cocoa, and coffee trees grow in this environment. A local guide will give you an introduction into the cultivation and process of these agricultural products. Drive to the utmost east point of Java to take the ferry to Bali. (B)

Day 1: YOGYAKARTA
Your tour leader welcomes you at the airport. Direct transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Buddhist Temple Borobudur.

Day 2: YOGYAKARTA - SUKUH TEMPLE - TAWANGMANGU - SOLO
Leave Yogyakarta in the early morning and drive to Solo. Stop at the world-famous Hindu temple complex of Prambanan and continue to the only so-called erotic Temple of Java, Sukuh. Go for a 2,5 hour walk through villages, passing vegetable fields, to the Tawangmangu resort. Late in the afternoon drive down to the Sultan's city of Solo. (B)

Day 3: SOLO - MALANG
Visit the Mangkunegaran Palace and the antique market before leaving for Malang. Arrival late in the afternoon. (B)

Day 4: MALANG - BROMO
After breakfast, visit the bird and flower markets, as well as the Chinese temple. On your way to the Bromo-Semeru National Park, visit the temple Candi Singosari. Drive on steadily rising roads up to Ngadisari. Overnight in a nicely situated small hotel. (B)

Day 5: BROMO - SURABAYA
At about 3 o'clock, drive by jeep to a 2.700 m high situated view point to enjoy the beginning of a new day with a usually spectacular sunrise. Walk to the edge of the Bromo crater. Back to your hotel and transfer to Surabaya. (B)
