Day 1: JAKARTA – CARITA
After a nice welcome by your tour leader in the Jakarta airport proceed to Carita. The afternoon is at your free disposal. (L/D)

Day 2: CARITA – LABUAN - UJUNG KULON
Early in the morning, leave Carita and drive by jeep to Taman Jaya (3,5 hrs.) situated in the buffer zone of Ujung Kulon National Park. After arrival, check in to your lodge. In the afternoon visit the Rhino carving center founded by the WWF Ujung Kulon. Walk to the hot spring of Cibiuk through rice fields and dense forest (2 km). Back to Taman Jaya before sunset. Dinner and overnight at the lodge. (B/L/D)

Day 3: TAMAN JAYA – KALEJETAN – KARANG RANCANG
After breakfast trekking to Kalejetan (approx. 4 hrs.) . Lunch at the Ranger house. In the afternoon continue the trekking trip to Karang Ranjang (approx. 2 hrs.) Dinner and overnight at the Ranger house in Karang Ranjang. (B/L/D)

Day 4: KARANG RANJANG – CARITA
Leave Karang Ranjang in the morning for Taman Jaya (approx. 4 hrs.) After lunch travel back to Carita. (B/L)

Day 5: CARITA – BOGOR
On minor roads drive to Bogor. Visit the world famous Botanical Garden. Overnight in Bogor. (B)

Day 6: BOGOR – BANDUNG
Via the Puncak pass reach Bandung. Visit a tea processing factory on your way down to Bandung. In the afternoon watch Pak Udjo and his traditional Angklung orchestra. (B)

Day 7: BANDUNG – YOGYAKARTA (BY TRAIN)
Leave your hotel early in the morning and go by executive train to Yogyakarta. Visit the famous Hindu temple complex Prambanan after your arrival in Yogyakarta. (F)

Day 8: YOGYAKARTA CITY LIFE AND BOROBUDUR TEMPLE
The cultural capital of the country invites you for a city tour. The Royal mosque and the old venerable sultan’s Palace radiate calmness compared with the outside bustling streets. Authentic Batik- and silversmith handicraft industry give witness of the skillness of the Javanese. In the afternoon visit the Buddhist Temple complex of Borobudur, an image of the cosmos in 3 levels. (B)

Day 9: YOGYAKARTA – BROMO
Leave Yogya early in the morning and drive to the Bromo – Semeru - National park. Overnight in a nice little hotel. (B)

Day 10: BROMO SURABAYA
At 3 o’clock in the morning drive by jeep to the lookout point Penanjakan to watch the sunrise. Walk through the sand sea and have a look in the Bromo crater with its steady smoke clouds. Transfer to the airport of Surabaya. (B)
